Ukrainian discovery

Hi, everyone! Have you ever thought about discoveries which were the most beneficial in Ukraine the last 100 years? I don't actually know about all discoveries, but I know one of them which was very exciting. Fedir Pirotsky was a Ukrainian engineer and the inventor of the world’s first railway electrification system and electric tram. In early 1880, he modified a double-decker, horse-driven tramway to be powered by electricity instead of horses, and on September 3rd of the same year, this form of public transport began to be used by residents of Saint Petersburg. Pirotsky’s experiments with the electric tram continued until the end of September, 1880. Some historians claim that this was the first electric tram in the world. Sadly, Pirotsky did not have the money to continue his experiments, and because the commercialization of his inventions in Russia was relatively slow, Pirotsky arranged a meeting with Carl Heinrich von Siemens, who was very interested in his ideas. As a result of their meeting, Siemens eventually introduced the first regular electric tram line into the public transportation system of Berlin.

Fall

  • Hi, everyone! I decided to make your day by writing another blog! Now, fall is here and it's time to have fun! Many people don't like fall because the weather is disgusting. It's sort of warm, but then it's cold, windy, and dry. If you bought a nice pair of shoes, just wait for it to rip by the unexpected rain. As for me, I like fall. Maybe the weather is not perfect, but I still like it as it gives diversity. Also, you can enjoy different season fruits and berries such as apples, melons, and watermelons. Don't forget about Halloween! It's a fun feast where people enjoy scaring each other and getting different sweets for it. Despite the Halloween, I have my birthday in autumn! This year I will be celebrating it in the Webb School, but I hope to celebrate it again with my friends in Ukraine after coming back there for winter holidays. So, fall is an extraordinary, wonderful, and fairy season. Unfortunately, it doesn't suit everybody, but I wait for it to come willingly every year.
I hope you liked my blog and I will be waiting for your comments!
